Monday's adventures!

OK...it's almost 7:30AM and I have been up for almost 3 hours!!!!! Why I can't sleep who knows. I found my Tylenol PM in my backpack THIS MORNING! Tonight, it will be the drug of choice.

Anywho, here goes yesterday.

Woke up at 6AM which was really 5AM because of a time change. Why???
Got coffee and breakfast and was off to the spa. I had a wonderful facial, manicure and pedicure. I am totally girly. It was great. Nice crew on this boat. From all over the world: the Phillipeans, Austrailia, South Africa. Very interesting trying to guess thier accents.
I went to a lecture about a Galapogos Island vacation that they are adding in 2006. Sounds very cool but it is during the school year and that would be tough to do.
Anywho, had a sushi lunch. It was good, but sushi rice is not really agreeing with me. I fill up very fast and at an All-You-Can-Eat that is a bummer.

I went back to the spa for a jacuzzi and lounging. Tried to take a nap but couldn't. Ran into Mario Cassion(?) from Sex in the City -- Sarah Jessica Parker's gay guy friend/also did Laugh Whore on HBO. Seemed a little snobby.

Went to the Internet Cafe and wrote the blogs. That took some time...and the internet is not cheap on the boat. 40cents a minute...so I am writing fast!!!!!
Wondered around a bit and tried to see if I could get into Rosie's rehearsal for her show but NOT!. Found a Chocolat party. That was pretty good and they even had Sugar Free stuff. I was happy to see that.

Off to BINGO. I didn't win but had a nice time. It cost $40 to play. Ouch. I was close though for the last game, but close only counts in horseshoes.
I then went to the pool party and Rosie was there again...tried to talk with her but didn't do it. Oh, well there will be more opprotunities.
Well, I went back to the room to get "dressed" for dinner. I have to admit, I looked hot. A nice lime green top with light brown pants, my nail and toes done....I felt so girly. Had dinner at the Mexican place. Tapa's it was good, and the margarita made me loopy.

Then I decided to go to Rosie's Variety Hour. I thought I would catch the early show, go back to the room and take a Tylenol PM and snoooze. But NNNNNOOOOOOOO!
I didn't bring my camera to the show because I thought they wouldn't allow it....IDIOT! Everyone was snapping pictures and even taking video. The show was great. Just like her Talk Show. Give Aways, comedy, music, dance numbers...very cool. She also swore like a sailor...just like her comedy act. Very funny.
Well, I couldn't NOT have pictures of the show. After the first show ened I went back to my room got my camera and went to the second show. Got an even better seat and snapped some great photos. It was better than the first show. Even more adult...most of the kids were in bed by then.
I ended the night with a martini and didn't lay my head down until 11:30. Crazy!

OK...before I go for the day...two funny stories.
#1- you know how on Sunday I told you about my first Rosie encounter and she seemed pissed. Well she talked about it in her act. She said "I know I am kinda like Mickey Mouse on this cruise. Everyone wants to meet me, and I am OK with that...but.....I am making one rule. I will not talk to anyone who is drunk." And then she went on to tell about how the night before she was in the bar and there was this drunk lady who wanted to talk to her and kiss her. Well, that lady...(was NOT me) was sitting right next to me when I was in the bar. Taht is why Rosie looked pissed. I was totally chuckling.

#2- On Sunday, after we got on the boat and I was in my room unpacking the captian made an announcement about something...but I couldn't hear it so I opened my door. Well, everyone had thier door open and I met the two people across the way from me. Richard and Rachel. Nice people. Not sure of thier status, brother/sister, friends, couple? Who knew. I said hello etc. and went back into my cabin. Thought nothing of it. A few minutes later I heard a knock on the door. It was Richard and Rachel and they asked me if I wanted a bag of "goodies". Not know what was in it, I said sure. Who knows. They said, they wanted to give it to me for being so nice to them. I was like...OK.
Well, I opened the bag and man was there stuff in there. Some crap...but lots of good stuff. Thought nothing of it.
Yesterday at the lecture about the Galapogos trip there was Richard and Rachel int the front row. They went on the trip recently and said it was the best thing in the world etc. They also mentioned they were friends of Rosie's. She called them Chip and Dale. Well at the show that night, there was Richard and Rachel in the front row...for BOTH shows! They were Rosie'sa diet helpers. The whole low carb craz. Rachel lost probably as much weight as I did.
Wel...who knew I was across the hall from celebrities!

Well...I have to run. The bag pipes are playing here in Halifax and I am off to go kyacking.
Wish me luck. and may I have SLEEP tonight!
Tata for now

Jo, when you get home you have to write a book - this is a great pick me up reading thing when work isn't going well!
Starbuck says hi - she is busy playing with Justin - her boyfriend, but he is greyer than she is - time for a new one, she says!
